Does anyone make a reasonably priced dash pad for 1971-74 B-bodies in colors other than black? My interior is F6 green and I got a quote from Just Dashes for $1700. I'm looking to replace the pad in a 4 door and $1700 is just too expensive for the car.

Nobody makes them in color, just black, them you can request being painted.

Their outrageous prices is one of the reason their are not anymore into the new customers minds. Looooong time ago they were priced more accordingly… into $600 rate. Then stepped up into 800 rate… and now that?

ABCmopars uses to offers those on $450-500 rate, but it seems to be out of stock I think by its cores stock. I guess if you send your one they could get it made?.

Several other names comes into my mind along the years recoring these pads. Carolina superdashes is one of them, but I think they are all pretty much related.


Now I’m wondering… if vinyl is available in many colors, why don’t make it them right into the color. Specially sending your own core to be rebuilt?, I know the EXACT SAME vinyl pattern is hard to be matched and maybe the perfect color shade too, but at least close enough is posible!
