Does anyone take the clock out of a rally dash and make desk clocks out of them? I took my clock out and put a tic toc in, so now i have a clock on my bench which would be great if it had a housing. I don't have the skills to make something appropriate for it and I'd hate to have it meet an untimely demise.

The factory clocks we're no noted for long term reliability unless the were converted to a quartz movement. As for a mounting/ enclosure, depends on how fancy one wants to get. Might be able to repurpose another enclosure whistling beer
