Video of Eberg's road trip from NY to CA in RR project car. Car then was shipped down under for a full resto.

I loved every minute of it! Man, they sure did some major work FAST on that car to get it ready! Very well done.

I've been friends with E-Berg since the first Mopar Nats in 1981 - this was really fun for me to watch.

Looks like their most recent trip with the Cordoba didn't go as smoothly.

I'll have to ck this out later when I have time.

I am looking at a car in Detroit area. And if I make the deal am giving serious thoughts to fly back and drive it home to southern AZ
Maybe I should have my head examined.

.

I did it twice. Drove my 69 six pack Bee from Detroit to Hot August Nites in Reno. Both times a three week road trip. Had a blast doing it.

Cool adventure; I followed it in Mopar Action.

Some years back, I had a 383/4-speed '69 RR; really nice original driver, triple green, a few nicks & door dings & 100K-something miles.
Drove it all over, including a couple 8-hour road trips; never broke a thing & I just listened to the car.
Enjoyed every minute of it.
On my Bucket List is taking one of the RRs I have now to Monument Valley and re-creating the '69 brochure shot.

I used to drive from AZ. to MI. all the time in old musclecars from 1984-1992. Change the oil, make sure the brakes were good & the radiator full & hit the road. Oh - I would normally be towbarring as well. Never had anything that started out roadworthy not be able to make it. Minor stuff, but nothing other than an overheat or small electrical issue like a loose wire. We did have a '69 Super Bee fail a fuel pump in Dallas in an absolute downpour - that was fun!
