Sorry guys, didn't mean to give y'all a heart attack. blush I don't have anyone waiting in the wings to fill in for me, so if I kick off, I'll just be gone. frowwn (unless I haunt this place......)

Thanks for all the comments, they are appreciated. I'm not totally Mopar less, I still have my Dakota. While it is 30 yrs old (!), it's not the same kind of 'vintage'.

It was kinda crazy when the buyer came yesterday to get the wagon. I don't know if I angered the Gods or what, but the ONLY time it rained in the last three days was when we were trying to load the wagon. Not before, not after, just during. Pulling up my weather app showed one lone storm cloud, right over us. Weird. realcrazy shruggy

Was over there today cleaning the space up, it's gonna take me a while to get used to not seeing the wagon. bawling

Thanks again guys. beer

It's a sad day, but an important distinction that you made that decision instead of letting it be made for you.

Will check out the video L8R when not at work.

You'll forever be one of the good guys around here as far as I am concerned, regardless of what kind of car you have.

looks to me you did yourself a favor getting rid of that thing. now get rid of that dakota and when ready go get some modern muscle. you'll be happier.

It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

as my brother says when he sees an empty spot in my garage : "here comes that sucking sound..........." [and pretty soon, the "clear space" has been filled. laugh2]
hopefully, you will get another ride that runs and drives you can enjoy. all things happen for a reason.

You are a stand up guy John, taking care of your mom and putting her first. I know it hurts to get rid of a longtime Mopar; been there and hate the feeling. But when life is less complicated and your mind a little clearer because of it I think you'll have another vintage Mopar. You should treat yourself to one in the future.

Well, one door closes another opens.
My wife got struck with MS and then I lost my job. Not sure of the future I sold my LRE at a classic car auction. Had it nearly 20 years and my wife could hardly believe i came home with an empty trailer. (and neither could I)Things are better now. But I kept my screen name. grin
