A12 Too Many Posts Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 21,507 N.E. OHIO, USA	Buy or use a (the) car antenna and hook it up to the car's battery and use a know working car speaker. You can just buy the cheap antenna and cheap car speaker at the local chain auto parts stores, or even a Walmart if you don't have known working items at home. Should be easy to bench test with a 12v source an antenna and a known good speaker.

I always bench tested by sticking a 3 -6 foot 16 or 14 Awg wire in the antennae plug and ground the radio. 67 Coronet 500 9.610 @ 139.20 mph 67 Coronet 500 (street car) 14.82 @ 94 mph 69 GTX (clone) - build in progress......
