almost all chrysler products used 3/4" hex nuts. ford used the 13/16" hex. way back in my junkyard days, it was apparent air wrenches would over tighten the lugnuts, and somewhat make the wheel hole try to swallow the nut. we used the ford nuts to give a little extra contact area to secure the wheel. the only drawback to that, ford never used left hand nuts, so this was limited to be used on 71 [?] and up.
