Never met the man, but it's obvious he had a huge impact at GM ...marketing the GTO to the public. He was apparently instrumental in the development of Detroit Dragway back in the day. R.I.P. Jim.

wow ! i didn't realize he was that old.
my local olds, pontiac, cadillac dealership owner was also up into his ninety's when he passed, and every time we would see each other, the first thing he would do is bust my chops about mopar !
