Vida Blue was one of my all time favorites - him and Jim Palmer. A lefty myself and that wind up was awesome!

Yes the wind up was quite unique. Jim Palmer with that tall lanky body and nasty fastball.

I remember Vida Blue, but I remember Louis Tiant's wind-up as really being the unique one.

As far as Deacon Jones, I was going to say he was NFL - but then there was this coach that I had never heard about. RIP to both.
