That is the new intake and so far seems like a nice piece, better than many others out there...

is it me or does every BB single plane look kinda like an oversized Torker II from the 80's these days? but the plenum looks a bit more like the MP 337 (which works well and fits under the hood).

Agree, the runners look enlarged almost to the point of the original B-1 intake!
Trick Flow sells a low deck intake but it's 4150 flanged and standard port. I think the Indy 400-3 is the only readily available max wedge, 4500 flange low deck intake on the market right now.
I really like the look of the new TF intake but think it's too much for a stock stroke 440, and I also don't have the hood clearance to adapt it back to a 4150 flange for my application.

Good to see. I don't see any info on the Trick Flow site. Height? Port opening size? etc. But it does say "In Stock" $479.99 Trick Flow updated their website with one piece of info: Intake Manifold Height:6.375 in.For the B1 intake comments, my measurement of the B1 original intake height was: 9.25" (with the RB spacers, but no gaskets, i.e. mockup)

is there one for a low deck? Birdtracker Easy enough to convert most 4150 intakes to a 4500. Just sayin no need for the adapter. NEVER seen a 4150 intake with an adapter outperform a true 4500 intake either.

JIm since you are including the height of the RB spacer plates in that measurement in your photo its a tad off. But yes the B1 intake is larger for sure.

Another person on Facebook posted a picture of it next to an Edelbrock Super Victor and the runners looked identical, the only easily visible difference was the plenum is completely open on the Trick Flow version, while the Super Victor has runner dividers extended into the plenum and the plenum opening has a cloverleaf shape to it.

I am currently running the Super Victor max wedge 4500 intake in stock form, I wonder if there would be any advantage to going this route instead. I was thinking of having mine ported in the future but maybe better off getting one of these Trickflow intakes ported? I am really curious to see how this performs compared to the Super Victor.

Comparing them, the TF is about 4.400 at the port opening in the plenum, and the SV is about 4.100...TF runners are a bit shorter too.
