Hello,

Im helping a friend over here in Sweden with some history research of his 70 Hemi Challenger R/T-SE.

This is the last tax stamp from USA before it was exported.. My question.. is the 4 on the stamp "April" or 4th quarter of 1972 ?

Hello,

The photo is of a Pennsylvania safety inspection sticker. Back then, vehicles were required to be inspected twice per year, The state used four cycles of inspections based on the last digit of the vehicle VIN number. The number four on the sticker in your photo is the inspection cycle for that vehicle.
