Just traded for an ebody and when the trade was done we swapped wheels and left...

Well the car has a pulsating vibration at 35-40 mph...steering wheel shakes, mirrors shake....

I have tried different rims/tires on the front, rebalancing, etc....still no help....

Any ideas.....could it need a front end alignment?

It doesn't do it in Neutral and the motor revving...so I ruled out the balancer, converter, etc.....

Neutral

sounds like a possible bad U/joint. Take down the drive shaft and check them. Don't just try to shake the drive shaft. Very misleading doing that.

jack the rear end up off the ground & have some one get in,put it in gear & run it up to 40 mph, if no problem go back to the front end

Make sure the your car stands are under the axle, not the frame.
