Steele Rubber Products finally has vent window weatherstrips for the 87-93 pickup trucks. They also have a new windshield gasket which I'm sure is better than the Precision piece of scrap everyone else sells. New vent window seals

Huh... Wouldn't have thought that. I have several spare doors for my 85, gonna have to swap out passenger door sometime, have to watch for that. I'd like to have them both the same, what's different about them? Is it the door shell itself or is it the wing window/ wing window frame? The door I was planning on swapping to came off a 92, can I put my original 85 wing window assy in the 92 door and call it good? I known have to swap out door latches because of a difference in striker posts new to old, in that span. The window and the pivots are different. You can swap the entire frame though.

What's wrong with the ones that were available before? I never installed mine yet but a mopar buddy of mine did and I never heard of him ever having problems. There never were any available before for the 87-93 style. You could use the 81-86 style if you modified the gasket for the upper pivot but they still leaked because the bottom of the 87-93 window lacks the metal base of the 81-86 style.

The seals came in late Thursday, I installed them Friday, but didn't drive anywhere. Weather was bad Saturday so I didn't drive it then either. Should be decent here today so I'll update after I drive it down the highway today. They are supple and it definitely feels tighter to close the window so I'm hopeful.

Well I still have wind noise but it's about half what is was before. I knew it would never be quiet like a new vehicle so it's all good. I still have plenty of weather strips and seals to replace.
