Hello, since I think the grille is from a DeSoto, it should be Mopar related. LOL A relative had this in his garage, and unfortunately it is time to clean house. Looking up DeSotos, I feel it if from somewhere between 51-55. The front view makes me think 54, but the pictures I see online are usually longer. DeSotos had between 7-11 teeth along the years. This has 9, same as a 54. This is a popular style grille with the street rod crowd, especially for 50's Mercurys. Any help the Moparts crowd can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kevin

You can see in the underside picture that the part looks to have been rusty and rechromed. The end shape does not appear to be added.

Thank you for the suggestion of inquiring over at the H.A.M.B. The kind and knowledgeable folks over there determined the grille to be a combination of pieces. The horizontal bar is from a '51 Kaiser and the teeth are from a '55 DeSoto. They all said it was a nice piece. I'm grateful for all the good folks in the automotive hobby that are willing to share their knowledge. Thanks, Kevin
