Wow I usually give a lot of slack to car owners to do things "their way"--but that really is a mess.
What car is under all that stuff? An Impala? Those look like Chrysler C-body slot wheels.

Looks like it started out as a '65 Monaco.

Looks like it started out as a '65 Monaco. I think it's a 66. 65 hood is straight between the headlights. Looks like a Bad Chad Original... Kevin

Started off as a cool 1966 Polara or Monaco. As mentioned above. Now it's just a bad Chad conversion.

IIRC pictures started floating around if it at least 15 years ago. Judging by the ranger in the back that's a recent pic, I am actually surprised its stll around. Stuff like that is usually short lived I took this pic 5 years ago in Crystal River, FL.

His car, he can do with it what ever he wants. As long as he is happy with his effort, that is all that matters.
Has the appearance of most 50s & 60s Customs to me, not exactly my same taste, but its not my car. Most don't like what I did with my stuff. Don't like it, don't look. At least this one has a consistent theme, not like many confused builds the cover 3 or 4 decades with trinkets from each decade. I agree: not like he was trying to create a particular look or existing style. He just free-lanced the build with what he probably had on hand. Looks kind of like what a full-size Back-To-The-Future car would be.

Not trying to bash the guys car but around my area there’s a Mercury Cougar(85?) with a 50 Ford front end and doors grafted on it. Off green metallic color. He’s proud of it though. That yellow thing and the Foogar would go together at the shows.

Don't know what your example looks like but, there was one made out of metal back in the late '90's and featured in a lot of magazines, then, somewhere along the way a company made a fiberglass kit form of the conversion. Doing a google search, it looks like they went out of business about 10 yrs ago or so. Old Article mentioning the kit.
