So why did Professional Drag racing not Start in Pomona Ca this Month. They always started the season in February. Now they are starting in March. What happened.

NHRA re-configured their schedule; season starts March 9th with the Gators, then AZ, then Pomona.

Don't know the real reason, but as a traditionalist with fond memories of seeing the new stuff @ Pomona, it kinda puts me off.
But I'm no longer the demographic NHRA cares about, and the only thing that can drag me back into CA is to be physically involved on a car.

I think the primary reason was to lower the travel costs for all of the teams.

When starting the season in Gainesville they need to have it in March.

This is probably is saving many thousands of dollars in fuel costs for all of the teams.

With track closings don't they have fewer races this year too?

nhra changed it for transportation/logistics, better for pros to travel


all parts are sold as is, all parts are considered used no warranties or returns
paypal/check/money order, shipping is from zip 02891, buyer pays paypal fees 24% IRS 1099A plus 3% of part price, check/money order preferred
