Well been a whole week now. My cervical cortex was compressed to the point I had poralissis(so?) To the point I had lost almost all feeling from.the waist down. And had lost the ability to walk. Both arms numb, both hands major loss of strength and dexterity. Hands also feel like bro g shocked 24/7. And 24/7 pain in Neck like stabbed by knife.with 24/7 head ache
Not I can feel my feet, do what I am going to make a stretch and call walk with help. And type with one finger. Do know how much is permanent nerve damages till later after recovering Told recover 4 months and get another surgery. Don't know for 4 months. Or of all goes well 9 to 12 months recover from just the 1st surgery. So wanted to thank the crew of misfits here who gave emailed, texted and called me. One of with was/ is Doc Fibberglass for the crazy and encouraging phone calls to keep my spirts up. The list of member's who have is long signed by the one finger typist . Praying for your recovery!

Sometimes recovery can be long. Mine took close to year. Good luck and wish you well. That's what he said. It only fly in the ointment is if 2nd surgery time starts over from it. Glad to see you recovered I remember you post

I am sorry to hear about this and wish for the fastest recovery with the best possible outcome. I had neurosurgery 21 years ago and while the rehab was slow and sometimes frustrating it got the job done eventually. Hang in there!

Must have missed all this?!?! Sux getting old and things breaking down (if that was the cause or part of it). All of a sudden out of nowhere I've had a hard time walking cause one knee was bothering me. Thought it was meniscus. Went to (typical condescending, "guess I have to talk to this poor person to make my Ferrari payment") orthopedic Dr. He said its arthritis and to eat Meloxicam (sp?) every day for the rest of my life or untill I need a new knee (that will poison me with shards of metal coursing through my veins). Wife is like suck it up buttercup. We have 39 more Mopar shows to do before taking the long dirt nap
