i tried. with the springs in the stock location, 275s were the absolute limit on my scamp. perfectly centered, and almost touching everything!

for what is the good life if not doing things thoughtfully?

Scamps have flat quarters where Dusters have bulged.

I've never tried that large of a tire, though.

73 Duster, 295-50-15 on 10" wheels with 4.0 back spacing and then 8" wheels with 3.5 back spacing, both would rub with passengers in the back seat.
