Never had a problem with neighbors, all good people. Then they started dying off and then the trash took their place.
Sad, but now you have a problem with neighbors. I'm on 5.5 acres because of barking dogs, screaming children, a renter who tried a daycare when I was working a midnight to noon shift, and many other reasons. But for awhile it was like a paradise ;(
Most of ours are OK but some of the foreign rentals that are starting to move into the area suck. Not all of them. Our backyard neighbor is the closest and they have a pool so I'm hoping when the time comes that that place sells a family moves in and not something that's going to turn it into party central.

OK fine. He's building a great isolated compound. Has lots of trucks heavy equipment. Has spent 20+ plus years doing it. BUT how does he afford it? What means sustains him otherwise. Cost of providing all the basic utilities? Ex Hedge Fund manager?. Maybe Tech Millionaire? Old Money? Not like he spends his weekends there & has a week job.

I'm guessing he's done this in relative seclusion. He says he's done it himself. I wonder if this YouTube fame is going to attract "sightseers". If so, I hope they're all the good kind.
