There is a shop here in my hometown that I have used for years. The only down side is that he is limited on the size of the trim. For larger items, 3’ or more, I have used a shop in Oregon. I’m sure you must have someone on your side of the country that does it as well.
It really doesn't matter whether you win or lose… as long as you look good doing it!

I’ve used these folks with good results. I had some 70 Challenger trunk and 1/4 moldings done and as friend has various parts for a 70 RT/SE done, including the SE tail panel. He usually attends Carlisle. https://www.facebook.com/mandmmetalfinishing/Marshall LaCoss M&M Metal Finishing 550 W. 4th Street Imlay City, MI 48444 (586) 215-9465 mandmmetalfinishing@yahoo.com

Been email back and forth with Bill, haven't gotten a quote or time-line from him though yet. My experience with Special T was anything but positive. All on the customer service side - ultimately I told him to go pound sand and went elsewhere. But I have not had any work done in a while so don't know the options.

OK I have sent my pieces out to M+M Metal Finishing, Marshall was very upfront and responsive to me. I have heard nothing back from King of Trim after initial email and phone call where I described what I needed and was told the owner will call me back to speak of what is needed. I didn't get a warm feeling from Special T's at all!!! Doesn't answer his phone and then in the email seems overworked and a bit curt to be kind. He gave me some large general pricing and surely didn't win my business over. Thanks to all that took the time to help me out!! Ron

I am pretty sure King of Trim used to be called Anobrite if so I used them 15 years ago to restore the grill/headlight bezels for my 69 Dart. They did an excellent job.
