So on the transportation section here, what do you need to post in that part of the forum?
Reason I am asking is I need a car picked up and my regular guy would do it, but he does not like to travel empty because fuel is expensive and that would reflect on my transport costs. I wanted to see if he could post here (or at least I can post for him) for the delivery destination. He’s a good guy and have used him probably 3 dozen times in the last 10 years, so I know I trust him with my stuff he’s done a few members on the forums so he’s good for getting the job done. I’m not looking to promote him, but would like to make the trip worth while for both of us. Need a car picked up in Oregon and he would leave from Cali. So what is needed.
Thanks for any info guys.

I think it's best for him to post in Transport, that way people can deal with him directly.

Up & down West Coast, it shouldn't be too hard to fill the spot.

You could post basic details, locations and date range, and then give out his phone number when you get an interested party.
Do it immediately as you never know who’s looking transport.

I charge 50 cents a mile for deadheading if it is excessive, say over 200 miles. If people pay my going rate and I have to deadhead under 200 miles then I just eat the cost. twocents You can post for him or he can get a user name and post, just let people know who is doing the actual transport.

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.
