Out of the State of Confusion
I'm curious to what problems a 6500 rpm mechanical flat tappet cam bracket engine would encounter with production adjustable rockers...140-150# on the seat and around 400-420# on the nose...HMM?!?

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

I think you would be fine. Running the stock rockers on mine at 7600 and 245 seat 613 over the nose.

I saw an AH car at Indy with wide pads on the exhaust side within the last few years, and it was not the slowest car there either.

I run a set of corrected widepad rockers on my motor. .767/676 lift. In 13 years I have broke one intake rocker. I've also gone though a couple sets of springs, retainers and keepers, and pushrods. The valvetrain is good to at least 8000.
