Many users have bragged about making custom vibration isolators from Sugru moldable silicone

https://sugru.com/what-is-sugru

a challenge is how to test a custom height mount prior to road use

their website says it will hold 600 times it's weight or 4.4 lbs whistling not sure if that increases with more product. Some complaints on AMZ about the quantity in the packages being less than a grab and go ketchup pack shruggy beer

Well, we got in a poly mount from Amazon and it’s only a little high. I think we can work with it. We may have to slot the holes more. I used 3/8” bolts in the early cross member so I would not have to slot the holes so much. Looks like a bigger problem is the tail shaft is not quite centered in th tunnel. This is a hemi with Arruza mounts a so it could be off a tick. It would not have to be off much to move it over some. The GV tailshft has a reinforcement ridge that may need a little trimming. Thanks for the help.

I think it’s an Energy suspension and it’s 3.25 high. He put it in but I’ll final tweet it today that may help. I’ll post a picture. 3” would have been perfect.

I have poured mounts for my Geo, like
https://www.energysuspensionparts.com/diymmi
but a different brand.
Cut most of the old out, and/or burn remaining out with a torch. New will bond fine.

I've modified cross memebers to use this style chevy mount. Had one in my race car for 11 years. The bolt spread is a little off but the welder and a couple of thick washers fixed that.

Also check energy suspension. GM mounts have either 3 3/4" or 4 1/4" bolt spacing. Some have slotted mounting holes.
