Did you sell the fish? And did you buy full metal jacket’s car? Lol. The fronts look awesome.

I have a 63 Dodge and was thinking the same. Only thing I don't like is the sidewall looks very short then. Here's a pic of a friend's GTX with 17s on the front for comparison. Hard to tell cause the wheels are black.

Might be old news, but the latest Drag Pak Challengers came w/ 17" fronts. What's the reason for the change from 15"?

Very likely to clear the brakes. Personally I'm not warming-up to the look either. Same reason as FBS said about the shorter sidewall, especially when you have the exact opposite ratio at the rear. When the rim is black and it is less pronounced, it don't look too bad.

I've often wondered, is the wheel / tyre combo lighter ? Are 17" radial fronts more readily available ? shruggy

Makes sense, less sidewall = less flex. Just for giggles I looked at getting some 17" fronts, matching the holeshots I already have. Dude they ain't cheap, about $100 less per wheel than a 15 x 10 dbl beadlock rear ..... and I got all the options on blush

I looked at 17's when I bought the wheels for my car a couple years ago. General consensus was if I didn't need the brake clearance forget about them. I went with 15's.

We put a friends 17" V series on the front of my 64 and I didnt like the look. Tire looks like an o ring and aot of space around the Strange brakes. So I went with 15's.
