I have a 69 d100 with a slant 6, it’s all factory with points ignition, what do I need to do to switch to a 1 wire internal regulated alternator?
Thanks!

So if I put the new alternator in and run a wire from alternator too battery, I no longer need the factory voltage regulator, what about the wire going from voltage regulator to ignition?

You can leave them alone or remove the regulator and tape the wires up into the harness.
