The driver's side of my Fury has always had a gangster lean to it, and I figured it was just a broken hinge mechanism or frame. I got to looking at it further last night and it looks like the retainer pin that the mechanism latches to is missing. Is this bolted or welded into the seat frame? I can't tell without cutting the cover off. Does anyone have a pic of what this looks like when the cover is off?

The passenger side of mine is intact, a pic of what I'm talking about is attached.

Is that removable? I don't want to risk breaking the passenger side off by twisting it if it's welded onto the seat frame. Does anybody reproduce them? What on earth is it called exactly? lol

Very random but wanted to update this as I solved my own problem - that piece that extends outboard is about 4" long and welded in the seat on both sides. I pulled my front seat out over the weekend to get recovered and it was still in the seat frame, the tack welds had just broken from age and it had slid inboard where it wasn't visible.

Cool you found the problem. up

My Challenger had a similar problem except the seat back is twisted and not resting on the pin.

Not sure how I will fix that yet.
