how much hp will a 727 handle? this is going behind my 340 with about 495 to 525 hp.i have a 4800 stall conv.

you should be fine with that---we have a good 727 guy on here from Ames (bad1970dust) .

fbs63 runs mid 8's with a CRT 727 . i run 10 teens with my CRT trans and would not be afraid to spray it to the low 9's .
