Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone makes aluminum oil pans for a 426 hemi. I’ve looked at moroso and they don’t have a deep sump one. Who else makes good oil pans? I have a milodon 8qt now but it doesn’t have a dipstick spot in it and I’d like to find one that has one. Thanks. Suggest U check Mancini... https://www.manciniracing.com/8qubheoilpan.htmlJust my $0.02....

Remember not to put the jack under the sump.

Charlies is no longer in business.. Shortys performance builds custom pans. Not sure he does center sump stuff but he does just about everything. Might give them a call. 559-770-7809 they are in California.

That's very pretty on the out side, but it's the inside that makes the HP.

Nice to know Al, being down here I missed reading about them closing. Al sure has a reputation of being correct, but Charlie's website is till up and they don't say anything about closing. Bill

That's very pretty on the out side, but it's the inside that makes the HP. In a BBM windage control is a HUGE issue, oil in suspension is never a good thing the skirted block dont help at all. Trust me Shortys stuff is very good. But in a pan like I posted one can only do so much. On a dragster style pan you have a lot more leeway to make it WAY better.
