It could if they wanted to, mercedes been doing it for years. But yes, the challenger concept also showed as a coupe but showed up with b pillar
Yes a friend of mine was an engineer on the initial Challenger project at the time and said they tried and tried everything to meet the "rollover" standard without the B-pillar and couldn't. Then later he explained the standard got even tougher so I would bet this new concept gets a B-pillar too. A guess but a pretty sure bet in my opinion,

So I understand correctly--they are going to put 340 and 440 "trim" badges on their electric cars to fool the casual "car guy" masses. Nice.
This whole "video game subscription" mentality that the manufactures are pushing down our throats drives me nuts. Your car is built with more horsepower and options, but you have to buy a subscription or a "crystal" to "unlock" them. What a scam.
It will eventually be available with gas engines for anyone wondering, apparently their core market isn't into it as much as they anticipated.
Regarding 340/440 apparently thats the watts or volts or something, I dont know anything about EV's.
I assume it'll be more than 5000lbs in EV trim so take the power numbers as a grain of salt too. A current V6 would probably run with the 455 hp EV
Maybe a hurricane straight 6 if you're lucky, and even then it'll be slower than the electrics... hemi's gone sorry.
I get it, Dodge doesn't want to bring out a new muscle car (V8 powered) and then the youtube videos come flooding in of it getting gapped by 700hp EV Kia's. If anyone was wondering why they're doing what they're doing. They need to get rid of the stupid trumpet exhaust though, that was a massive screw up.
