That is great news !!! such an iconic track !!! 30 years ago we were on vacation in the L.A. /Palm Springs area the same time as the World Finals were taking place.. while my wife laid by the pool at a friends house in Palm Springs I drove to Pomona to watch qualifying .. it was pretty cool to be at such an historic track.. I can't believe it was 30 years ago

The only "debbie downer" is the Fairplex has the ability to sever or alter the contract at any point. How it's been for years. That track is used twice a year only, for the two NHRA events, nothing else just how we have it out here.
