Anyone have a 1970 Duster that can advise on what it weighs?

Assuming it has an 8-3/4”, aluminum wheels all around, 440, auto, leaf springs.

If it has frames tied, headers, glass hood, two light weight buckets, no back seat, 6 point mild steel bar - that would get me an even more accurate weight.

Trying to figure out what a car weighed a long time ago with these features.

Also, did 70 A bodies have door beams in them ?

No door beams until 1973 I think, maybe it was 1974 in A bodies shruggy
As far as car weight in race trim we raced one that was 2850 Lbs. without the driver, all steel except the hood and acid dip bumpers and doors shruggy
Dana 60 with leaf springs with slider ladder bars up It would run 10.60s all day long running out of fuel the last 300 Ft. We were not as smart as we should have been. We learned that later whiney shruggy

According to the Standard Catalog of Chrysler, 1990 version, a 70 340 Duster weighs 3110 lbs. An all iron 440 is about 100 lbs more then a 340, so a 440 70 duster should be around 3210 bs. The frame ties and 6 point cage probably equal about the same weight as all the weight savings things removed, call it a wash. Still 3210 lbs. Depending on the size and the style of the aluminum wheels, they may actually have been heavier then the oem steel wheels. Lots of other variables (like was the heater box removed?), but 3100- 3200 is a good ball park without a real scales number.

The 73 340 Duster we stripped out for a dirt track car did not have door beams. Don't think those were added until after 74, even then a Duster would have been the last to get them, if Mopar had a choice in the matter.

any time i have weighed anything, it always comes out heavier than i expected. especially compared with published weight figures.
then, depending on what scales are used, a couple of different weights can be found about the same car.
truck stop scales, feed store scales, places that sell gravel, or four wheel scales bought from race car supply places. which is best ? [i know the answer, just a rhetorical question]
i know all need calibration of some kind, but not all of us can justify buying a dedicated set of competition scales just to weigh a car one time.
