What spring set up are you guys using.. 1977 stock 904 amc 6cly pacer
The set up I pulled out is simular to the 727..

See attached photos.. I have a new assembly from AandA trans and it looks like the 904 exploded view.. the other photo is a drawing from the astg manual

The servo shown in the ASTG manual is called a "controlled load" servo used in '71 and later, it's a piston within a piston while the A&A offering is like the earlier servo, just a one-piece shaft. Use the supplied spring with the A&A.

What came out of this 77 unit is like the on pictured in astg manual with out the large spring, AandA sent the one in the D . Exploded view
