Interesting. I always figured the starters used more than 300 amps but I never did the math so it was just an assumption.

Are you using the stock OEM starter or a newer design starter?

I use the newer Mopar style starters. I never saw 300 amps when I took amp measurements. 250 ish yes, but never saw 300.

Thank you for the info,pic! I have seen recently some put a cable on the main power cutoff/on at the back but it is a lot of $$ I would think 1 could make a pull cutoff handle ,cable with a bicycle cable/handle if you don't mind looking cheap.
