I am wrapping up the rebuild and detailing on my 72 RR's 440. Upgraded to CNC Stealth heads and ditched all the other iron parts in the process (manifolds, water pump housing, radiator etc), which I am guessing shaved more than 100 lbs off the front end. Also took the opportunity to upgrade to a Steer and Gear firm steering box and rebuilt steering column, new under hood harnesses etc. The motor was orange but took it back to corporate blue. Before shot: Engine bay detailed: Mocking up: Near finished product (excuse the worm gear clamp on the upper hose, got to replace the hose): Just because:

So did you massage the motor a bit? The '72 Air Grabber cars are SO cool!

Nice job! Looks very clean! Did you replace the stock cast iron intake? What make are the headers that you used? They appear to be Hedmans. Again, nice job!!

Very cool and stealthy! FYI, a Moroso underdrive crank pulley kind of disappears with black paint (they are aluminum) and gives another 8 hp or so...
