Does anyone know what the factory cfm that a 2001 Dodge Dakota (5.9) electric fan puts out? I have one on my aluminum radiator, however I do not think it is enough to cool my 440.....

That kind of info you can usually find at Rock Auto if you look at the INFO button of the part in question. In this case, it appears to be 2200 cfm

BTW, that's probably a crap choice regardless of cfm, no shroud

Thanks! It does have a shroud. Removed complete unit from the dakota

The fans I'm running on a 512 came out of Ford Contour with a V6. If they're left on high it will cool the motor down to the thermostat rating, 160 degrees. Run it and find out I guess.
