71valiant OP enthusiast 7 Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 375 NE Oklahoma	I have a 360 with 480/480 lift cam, headers, rpm airgap, stock pistons etc. I recently aquired a 1999 5.9 motor. Is it worth the swap to put the heads on my LA motor.

Dos Snails pro stock Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 1,325 Orlando Fl	I say yes, it will give you a bit more compression & better flowing ports, 1.6 rockers ETC.. On the down side you loose your airgap unless you re drill your magnum heads for the La pattern. I did a set & did not like how they turned out ( I used the same size bolts as the La & they would of had more meat with a smaller bolt)
