Somebody was selling one with the outlets on the engine side around 10, 12 years ago. From China. I don’t think they’re available anymore. I guess you either use a 36283 and reconnoiter the lines, or rebuild what you have. To further complication matter afaik after market MC kits are not available anymore. So either look for NORS or buy a 36283 and pirate the piston assemblies to rebuild the old MC. Ok, Thanks. Ive passed said info along. And I think he is going to just buy a 36283 and buy new master cyl lines and move them to the fender side and call it done

Weren't all the Hemi lines on the other side of both type master cylinders, drums only and rear drums with front disc brakes? Why not buy a good rebuild kit and fix that one I would

So either look for NORS or buy a 36283 and pirate the piston assemblies to rebuild the old MC. This is what I have found. I bought a couple of spare ones back then. The only ones I’ve been able to buy lately are the fender side exit lines. The factory used engine side exit masters cly on wedge head cars and fender side exit on hemi engine cars. There has been many wedge head cars found with fender side exit masters, though, especially on Superbirds. The master cly shown in the above post are an aftermarket casting made with the ability for machining the lines for either side. Mopar never made one like that.

Just throwing this out, in '67 if you ordered power disc brakes in a 'B' body you got the "Hemi" booster with the "Hemi" master cylinder. Here is a '67 GTX with a 440 and power front discs.

Bill my '69 GTX's power disc brake master cylinder that I'm certain is the original. SPD December 16, 1968. The second image is how it was when I bought the car from the original owner. I'll check when I get a chance later for the part number. Mike

Yes you can get kit, though I think they started to get scarce. If your pistons are good, you can also get seals. Orig and orig replacements were 1 1/18" bore.
Below is the data on mc. C body used theses too. The difference was pistons installed. Though you probably would not notice any difference. These are all Bendix units. 2881868 MC Casting 2225621 to Fender 67 All B Body and 68 B with Hemi 4 Piston Bendix 2881870 MC Casting 2226811 to Fender 67-68 C Body Fat and Tall 4 Piston Budd 2883058 MC Casting 2226821 to Engine 68-69 B Body without Hemi 4 Piston Bendix #1 2944269 MC Casting 2226821 to Engine 68-69 B Body Station Wagon Power Drum #2 2944376 MC Casting 2225621 to Engine 69 B Body with Hemi 4 Piston Bendix #3 2883089 MC Casting 2225621 to Fender 69-70 C Body Floating Single Piston Calipers 2944476 MC Casting 2229191 to Fender 70-71 B/E Body with Hemi Fat and Short #4 2944477 MC Casting 2226821 to Engine 70 B Body without Hemi Floating KH Single Piston Caliper #5 2944479 MC Casting 2225621 to Fender 70 B Body Taxi Manual Disc has studs
THANK YOU Is there a way to determine a rebuild kit part number for a specific casting number or do I search by the master cylinder (i.e., 2883058 MC) number or the casting numbers you provided? I would need a rebuild kit for: 2883058 MC Casting 2226821 to Engine 68-69 B Body without Hemi 4 Piston Bendix ('69 GTX 440, front power disc brakes) There are a few listed on eBay but until I take my MC off and apart I don't know what I need to start looking for. On the other hand, I will need to take it apart first to confirm what I need, (duh) but a rebuild kit part number may get me into the right area to search. Thanks, Mike
