I used to work for AOPA and worked this event every year.
The Warbird area was one of my favorites to visit. I lusted over this F4U (or one just like it) and a highly polished P-51 Mustang the last time I was there.
I really miss it and need to get back up there as a spectator!

11.19 @ 121 mph
Pump gas, n/a, through the mufflers on street tires with 3.54's. 3,600 lbs.
10.01 @ 133mph with a 250 shot of nitrous an a splash of race gas. 1.36 60 ft. 3,700 lbs.

Thanks! The Corsair and Thunderbolt are two of the baddest and most beautiful WWll aircraft. I like the P38, P51 and the P47, is that known as the "Thunderbolt"?
