My buddies was worse, 460 Ford engine. Cask crank steel rods. Everything was in the pan (what was left of it) crank, cam, lifter valley with lifters, rods-pistons. The whole inside of engine, block was broke in half. I’ve never seen anything like that before.

He has posted two more videos about it. He used a new rod company, that didn't go well lol. I haven't watched the latest ones but I am about to click play.

I've had two forged pistons, one from CP and the other from JE street division, CRS SRP ??, the CP disintegrated from the ring lands down into a bunch of very tiny pieces, the other one broke off one of the piston bosses into tiny pieces. I suspect, no proof though, that those company are using forged blanks from China and finishing here in the U.S.A. but not heat treating them after finishing them, maybe not Both motors, one 440 and the other was 340. ended up with holes and cracks in the cylinder walls Ended up replacing the filled 440 block that was 4,375 bore and sleeved the crack 340.
