MONC OP master Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 3,657 The Historic Hudson Valley	Anyone got ideas on how to "lock" a hood on cars that don't have an inside hood release? Bike cable lock , or anything else? Mopar Or No Car

469runner pro stock 4 Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 1,250 North Carolina	Chain and a padlock? I lived in St. Louis in a not very nice area during my college years. I drove a 1970 'Cuda then. Yes, they were just daily drivers in those days, 1978-1982. Batteries in the area were being stolen constantly. Mine never was, though hood had been popped a few times. Slowed the thieves enough that they just moved on. Ran the chain through the latch hook and around the support.
