Anyone got ideas on how to "lock" a hood on cars that don't have an inside hood release? Bike cable lock , or anything else?

Bike cable lock works good. I have also used small locks through the hood pins as well.

Thanks for replies. Was thinking a bike cable might work, but hadn't tried it yet. Those other set ups look good too, but more complicated - at least at first glance
