Was doing some carb testing and was going to use some of the 2 emulsion hole Holley blocks I have. On one of the blocks it has a deeper plug for the main well and when it was removed for cleaning a standard plug was installed which sits up high. With the plug high in the well like it is, will it create any specials issues or problems?

The idea is the lower plug location speeds up the main well response due to the reduced volume. Some blocks have the plugs lowered, but certainly not all. And I suspect it would be pretty hard to tell the difference, regardless.

The lower main well cap along with the two emulsion holes per side are two of the main things I look for when buying blocks.

Thanks for help, that makes perfect sense.

Its kinda funny you responded as the couple of carbs I am messing with are the older Demon RS stuff, which I have gleaned a tremendous amount of information from your old posts on Speed-Talk, so thanks for that help also.
