Where can I get point sets for this distributor ? Are they the same as Mopar single point sets ?

Condenser is the same too ?

Also, how high an RPM are these reliable for ?

Mallory has made a number of different distributors over the decades. My twocents is to find a part number -- if possible -- and contact Mallory directly. However, given they've been bought up by MSD IIRC, I don't know what sort of tech support you'll get for their older products.

Maybe posting pics on here may help to identify what the right components are, too. scope

I use old Accel catalogues to find what points and condensers were used in Mallory distributors. You will need the model number off of the distributor.

Hello John, I have a 1997 Accel catalog, no references to Mallory. My Mallory dist is p/n 2757801A.

My Accel catalogue is number 3420, dated 1977. Mallory distributors listed are series YC, ZC, YD, YL, and ZD. This catalogue doesn't list any distributors with numbers such as yours

YC and ZC use Accel points number 110400 or 110401 (stiff spring) and condenser number 100401. This condenser is a large style that is mounted on the outside of the distributor body. One piece distributor cap is number 120401. Rotor is 130401. There is no crossover to any OEM vehicle listing that uses those points, condenser, rotor or distributor cap. An external mounted condenser may help identify which style of distributor you have, or maybe not.

YD, YL and ZD distributors use Accel points number 110403 or 110402 (stiff spring) and condenser number 100402. Distributor cap is Accel number 120403 which replaces a two piece Mallory cap. Rotor is number 130402. These cap and rotor numbers can only be used in a matched pair, and may not be mixed and matched with marine flat caps and rotors. There is no OEM that uses these numbers, although there may be some marine applications that do.

Hope this information helps you out.

EDIT: A quick internet search indicates a 27 series Mallory distributor relates to earlier YL series distributors. Take that for what it's worth.

John, That's great, Thank you very much.
I took some pics.
I wonder how unique the vacuum canister is, maybe it's a common GM or something.

*************

I wonder if the "A" in the part number means adjustable vacuum ?

No idea on the vacuum advance. It doesn't look like any GM I've seen before.

the vacuum can should have a 3/32" [i think] hex fitting inside the nipple if it's adjustable.
this will allow you to adjust when the can starts activating.
i don't think i have seen a mopar distributor without an adjustable vacuum can. shruggy
