Tried minutes before, but did not see it, so try again: what size are the wheel lugs in a 69 bird? Maybe 1/2-20? Thank you.

1/2-20, right and left hand threads as has been stated.
however, check what your car has, as it may have been converted to all right hand threads over all the many years [and owners ?] that have passed since the car was new.

Don’t worry about that, I bought the car in January 1970, and I still have left-hand lugs.
