Looking for advice on making fuel and power steering lines.
Would like options that don't include any specialty tools, simplicity is best.
This is for a driver, don't need high tech race stuff.

Going from Borgenson steering box to Holley pump, ~1800 PSI
Going from Corvette 58lb regulator to 5.7 fuel rail

Thx

NAPA can make hydraulic hose fairly reasonable, redhorse sells hose and fitting for fuel lines for do-it-yourself good price

all parts are sold as is, all parts are considered used no warranties or returns
paypal/check/money order, shipping is from zip 02891, buyer pays paypal fees 24% IRS 1099A plus 3% of part price, check/money order preferred
site is not monitored 24/7 there might be a delay in response

I don't know if you need fancy ends for the fuel hose.
I just got efi rated hose from autozone. bought a whole roll, cut it to fit and returned the rest of the roll when I was done.
standard barb fittings and the smooth hose clamps. has worked fine for 10 years.

Thx for the replies,

I’ll stick with standard rubber and clamps for the fuel, same setup on the FiTech system I had for years.
I’ll check out NAPA for the steering.
Didn’t know if there was an inexpensive and easy DIY for that.

Don’t put in braided Teflon line for power steering. use high pressure rubber like stock units used. Or cloth covered hyd line: https://www.krcpower.com/ecommerce/hose-and-an-fittings/hose-p-s-6-blue.asp

Make the PS line take a long path. The longer path dampens the harmonics that cause the whine and noise issue you hear about with Borgenson setups.

Is that a Saginaw Type II pump? Most I see are 1200 psi. Does someone recommend 1800 psi for the Borgenson’s?

Good input on making the steering line longer.
You're correct on the 1200 PSI, for some reason I thought it was higher.

Not sure what the Borgenson needs, I'm worried 1200 might be too low?
The reason I question that, is the system doesn't have enough pressure with my factory Saginaw pump at low RPM and feels like manual steering.
I switched out my Cop box with the Borgenson, and kept the same Saginaw pump on there with the 340 motor.

I did do the Ebooger shim trick to lower the pressure with the stock box and it worked perfectly, but not enough pressure for the Borgeson.
I put in 3 shims several years ago and loved the improvement, was actually disappointed with the Borgeson, but hoping that improves with the 5.7 and Holley pump.

Wonder what the stock pump pressure was with the shims?

if i remember the e-booger article, it was supposed to get the pressure down around 7-800psi from 1200 or so.
that's just a guess on my part. i'm pretty sure the pressure wasn't lower than that.
