If I narrow A Dana rear an 1 inch per side can I use the same axels I have

Are they stock Mopar axles or after market race axles?
If stock Mopar axles probably not twocents
If after market race axles remove one, the driver side first, to see if the splines are long enough going back to the brake backing plates to cut one inch off of it and still have long enough splines for good spline engagement wrench scope twocents

Yep thats what we did with the Dana 60 with aftermarket shafts for a better fit for the 10x29 tyres on the '69RR.
