Back when drag racing was relatively inexpensive nor sophisticated. I can only imagine what it would cost today to build a competitive (never mind state of the art) SS/BA A-990 1965 Plymouth or Dodge. I bet every bit of $250,000.00 when you factor into that price spare engine(s), transmissions, rear ends, etc. as well as the rig and trailer necessary to haul the car to the track.

Back when Pro Stockers looked like REAL cars and looked really cool unlike today's so-called Pro Stockers who are, in reality, Pro Mod-type cars with absolutely nothing in common (outside of brand affiliation) with their OEM counterparts.

Meh , few laying around .
Is it me or did those go through a fire? I've got two of those from winning class once and one division bracket finals, lucky for me my wife keeps them dusted I let her sell a bunch of the older trophy's I had won from Fontana, Orange County, Riverside, Colton, Irwindale Inyo Kern and LACR They got stash in boxes years ago in the garage and she was having her yearly yard sale and some guy saw them and ask her if they were for sale, they weren't but I let her sell them anyway for $5.00 to $15.00 each, and she ended keeping the money Out of sight, out of mind The memories last forever

Buying replacements is an option but he does not want to spend that kind of money. This is a link his Facebook post, don't know if it will work for everyone. https://www.facebook.com/groups/dragracingthegoodbadandugly
