I seen Summit has some good prices on their candy color paints. Anybody use any of there paint products? Epoxy's, primers or paints. Someone told me a long time ago they bought some paint from them ready to shoot and said it was great stuff. I am leary about using cheaper price paints.

I shot the wheels on this with Summit SS black Urethane. Worked well, seems like a pretty durable paint.

If I could complain about anything, I'd say it's not the most pure pure black color that I have ever sprayed,
especially compared to PPG 9300 code that is mostly gone from the GTX these days...but visually, it is not at all noticeable
at all against a white vehicle.

The material was very user friendly, TDS were easy to access on Summit's site, and had no issues with any of it.

I'd use it again.

My neighbor builds a couple of hot rods/street rods every year and has started using their paint in the last few years.

He loves it and says it sprays out really well.

Used their paint to do the R/T blackout treatments on my challenger grill and tail panel. Only other thing I have shot from a gun is Nason urethane. Compared to that stuff, the summit paint is THICK, I definitely had to thin it down more than they claim to get it to flow out evenly on the surface otherwise left noticable waviness. My experience was recent so can't comment on durability etc. With only beginner knowledge, the $20 harbor freight purple gun, and trying real hard to do good prep work, it did come out looking good after some trial and error on thinning.
