Lots of guys use them with no problem, but stay away from the parts store cheapie molded ones. I had a set of 2" blocks on a Charger I used to own and broke them in just a few passes(cheapie molded part store brand). Bought a set of hefty machined blocks from Speedway motors and they held up just fine. They were not completely solid, but still very ridgid by comparison.

i used the extruded ones, and they were not up to the task. i've since switched to the billet aluminum units. i got them from mancini. much better.
for what is the good life if not doing things thoughtfully?

Go with the solid ones with the STEEL locating pins. Had a truck & Duster lowered with the CHEEZY aluminum ones. The aluminum casting will more than likely fail. 4x4 places are a good place to shop. V10

What about adjustable lowering blocks??? Do they adjust the height or the rear back and forth??
If you see them advertised but no pictures, I bet they are the circle track ones that adjust rear steer fore and aft. We used them all the time in the circle track car I worked on.
