Hi sorry if this has been asked before. But I will be building my first gen3 hemi stroker motor. The stroker kit is a k1 crank and Rod kit with wisco pistions. The kit came from CNC motor sports. The info says it will have 11.1 compression with my Eagle heads. I have not bought the cam yet. But will have over 600 lift. Intake will be a ported Ritter intake. For now a holley 800 DP carburetor. I have to build them first, but headers will be 2 inch tube 3.5 collectors. I was really wanting to build a 14.1 compression stroker 5.7. But every body around me wants 1000-1500 for a early 5.7 hemi that needs rebuilt. I am buying the stroker kit and a machined block ready to build for $2500. This engine will be going in my race 91/96 Dakota sport race truck. Which has a 904 transmission with a 8 inch 5500 stall coan converter. Rearend is a 8.8 ford with 4.30 gears and MT 28.5x10.5 pro bracket radial tire. My goal is to run 10 flat to mid 9 in the 1/4. Which i don't know if thsts doable or not

You can search here for my posts, but my 13.5:1 5.7/392 with the same parts you're talking about has been 9.74@137 in a 3400# car with a 727 and more recently 9.70 with a powerglide at 3300#.
I'd say 10.0 shouldn't be a problem if the truck works well

I'd say 10.0 shouldn't be a problem if the truck works well wow thats very nice. I woukd be happy if I ran that fast. My dakota has been 11.24 at 116 so far with my warmed over junk yard 360 magnum engine in it. Also I am guessing my dakota is around 3400/3500 with me in it. My dakota will be raced with a 904.

My pump gas BB 505 C.I. stroker motor made around 12 HP less on E85 than it did on Oregon 92 octane pump swill but it made 44 Ft.Lbs. more torque on that pump E85 on a DTS engine dyno by changing the fuel and carb. made for E85 My current S/P bracket car runs on straight pump E85 and it is the best thing I've done to any car I have race for bracket racing, deadly consistent from the 1st run in the morning to the last run in the late afternoons, no guessing on how much to change for the D.A.. It will run within .001 to .005 all day long: boogie: Torque moves the mass, not HP

Well I wouldn't be afraid in the least to run a 950HP style carb, that is a decent size motor and is going to want a lot of air at higher RPM. Are the heads going to be ported or left stock?
Are you running a VVT block or early block? That will affect the cam recommendation a little.

I am wanting to run this engine on E85 so will be buying a E85 950 carb for it. The block is a early hemi, I think 06 block. The heads will be run stock for now. Will be getting them CNC ported latter

If it was me I would just get BGE heads right now, they are much cheaper than getting your eagle heads ported and have even more potential down the road. I would never spend money getting eagles ported, they are awesome as is but the BGE is even more better.
Either way you could still take about .030 off those heads without getting too close to the valve seat and if you are gonna run E-85 get as much compression as you can for sure.

The engine was done by IMM machine in Indio CA. It's about 12 to 1 compression with the cam speced by Brian at IMM. Stock hydraulic lifters and rocker arms helped to keep the cost "reasonable" Contact Brian at IMM for more info ... he's easy to deal with.. Thanks for the info. I will have to send him a message

Which i don't know if thsts doable or not SgtMiller ,Thank you for your service. The Guy who built all my G3 toys , did a 394(3.922X4.08) Icon Pistons, 14+cc dome ,(comp is 11.75 to 1) Eagle heads, 2.125 In take 1.625 Ex , Chambers were softened , they measure 72ccs ports are relatively stock, they were treated to a burr finish porting , cleaned the bowls to use the 2.125 Intake valve. didn't raise the floor lower the celling , no vanes, no push rod tubes. off the shelf Comp Cams HRT specs are some where in the high.59X for lift and 240@.050dur , Not sure haven't looked them up lately. Ritter Intake Wilson Elbow Hellcat TB and a Durango PCM The truck it's in is a 97DakotaRC 4X2 with a TKO600 behind it, 4.88s in the 9.1/4 rear. The Dak runs 9.80s @ 136-139mph, goes through the traps at 7400 RPMS , makes 720hp on the dyno , and MPH /Weight says it's roughly 650 at the wheels .........again it's a 97 Dakota and the PCM is out of an 04 Durango. ...the TKO600 is probly the biggest set back on this truck, they are not know for shifting nicely over 7k , He had an A833 in it it at one point., the A833 did it's typical 3rd gear spread and break. so there where no runs with it, truck has been together since 2017, has about 120 passes on it. mostly Mid Atlantic tracks. 390-400Ci G3s with stock Eagle heads 10-11.5 to 1 Comp .590-600 lift cams. 565 HPmin the better the Intake and the Higher the RPMS the More HP. RPMs seam to be a catch 22 for the G3 ,
