i always use a dab of loctite 567 teflon paste. that stuff is perfect for sealing almost everything that involves threaded fittings ! EXCEPT brake lines !

Saginaw pump and bracket on a 440. For the lower bolt that locks the swing, do you use anything under the head? I did a quick search and didn’t see anything. Thanks Nothing is required , nothing is speced in the FSM ... as far as I know ...

Thanks If you are talking about the adjuster bolt that sits on top of the adjusting slot it had a flat washer under the bolt head. That’s the one. I have an ARP flat washer, 3/8” id by 5/8” od, that should do the trick. Thanks
