I just bought a 75 D100 and other than people with personal used parts for sale, I can't find any vendors who cover the old D100s at all. I would love to find someone with a parts list with prices so I can budget my priorities in getting this pickup to the level that I want it. Is there no venders out there who sell the parts to fix up one of these old trucks?

I'm only looking to make a driver out of it. Just to haul leaves and garbage and makes trips to Lowes and Menards. No shows, maybe some cruise nights.

It is fun trying to get parts. Some are pretty easy and some impossible My kid has an 80 and has been looking for like 9 months for a heater core for non ac and the sway bar bracket that mounts to the strut rod.No luck Oh yeah his is step side and the rear bumper brackets are impossiblke also unless you want to run the ugly diamond plate type.Rocky

Heater cores are bad parts to deal with. On one of my cars I had to get my original recored after getting several replacements that came nowhere near fitting. When I got one for my lil red express they were all over the place and I got one for $60 from Advance. Not too soon after they disappeared from everywhere. It seems that finding one that's actually usable is just as hard as getting to them in a lot of vehicles.

And I'll second dodgeconnection for parts.

I got this licensed today at the DMV and they wanted to know if it was a sweptline or a utiline. I'm not familiar with either one of these terms. Google lead me to believe (with no time to research) that I had the utiline, was I right or wrong?

61-71 was the Sweptline era. Utiline is the "stepside" model in that same era but the term was probably used beyond 71.

Sweptline=wide bed with fenders on the inside.
Utiline=narrow bed with fenders on the outside.

These terms are not specific to 61-71 trucks, they go way beyond that.

rock auto has lots of driveline parts, and who knows what else.
you might want to check them out to see just what they have available.

I was stating the word "Era". From Chrysler historical archives:

The Sweptline Era...

After poor market performance (Dodge only had 6% of the truck market share in 1960) they decided to create an all new truck with a lean toward passenger car styling. The popular "Dart" name was used to promote this new style and the new for 1961, "Dart Sweptline Pick-up" was born. Officially, (in Chrysler Corp. marketing), the Sweptline era pick-ups lasted until 1971. However, Dodge still used the term until 1995 when it was finally replaced by, "Ram."

When your choices are sweptline or utiline, then it refers to the bed type.

I'm undecided as of yet. I love the body style and I hate the way it runs, drives, and rides. I'm considering replacing everything but the body, but my skill level, budget, space, and remaining life span, all require me to put lots of thought into making the right decision. It's a nice solid truck with a couple of small rust holes and it needs the floor pans replaced. No matter which direction I go, it will need some interior pieces such as sun visors (complete), rearview mirror, glove box door, (better than it has), Dash pannel (better than I have), and windshield just to name a few. RF fender has light damage also.

I find lots of stuff on ebay but unfortunately usually overpriced

www.Vansauto.com has parts too but probably not what you need and more of a restoration persons needs.

Facts are stubborn things.

I used to use E-bay a lot but now I mostly use them more for visual aids and comparing parts when there are options. When E-bay doesn't have what you're after, it's a good sign that it's going to be at least somewhat hard to find.

Has anybody seen that commercial for ebay saying they have the "right parts" or "wheels"? Well they don't! Ebay was awesome back in the late 90's early 2000's but now it's all crap from china. Now it's hard to even look for stuff for all the junk yards/carid and places selling the junk from china posting stuff on there. You type in say a specific part and there is 300 results with a pic of a wreck sitting in a junk yard and not the part you are looking for. Ebay should have a filter for "private sellers" only. Then it may filter 95% of the crap you are NOT looking for. I see that carid is a sponger of a few forums i'm on and clams to have the parts you need. I have NEVER found they have anything i'm looking for except cheap reproduction crap from china. That's 95% of what you see on ebay now. If by chance there is somebody selling something you are looking for they want a mint for it. Same goes for Rock Auto, I can list a bunch of parts they don't have. So much for "all the parts your car will ever need" WRONG! If you are looking for a specific part ask here and you might get a reply for source. Keep in mind it's not a Cheby and there is little quality reproduction stuff available so good used or NOS is your only option.
